يُطل اسم كنين مُشعاً بحرف ال «كاف»، ذلك الحرف الذي يختزل في مضمونه سر الاحتواء، فالكاف في لغتنا العربية الجميلة ترتبط بكينونة وجوهر الوجود، لذا كان اسم كنين رمزاً للاستقرار.. ومعناً للسكينة.. وغايةً للارتقاء.. ودلالةً على الجودة وحُسن الابتكار.
